Mission Statement
Fandema International is a nonprofit organization that partners with smallholder farmers and rural families in The Gambia to build thriving enterprises and resilient livelihoods. Through recoverable grants and other financial support, agricultural education, mentorship, and technical assistance, we help farmers turn their land, skills, and ambition into lasting income, economic self-sufficiency, stronger food security, and healthier soil and ecosystems.

We envision a world where every rural family, beginning with smallholder farmers in The Gambia, has the capital, knowledge, and community to build a prosperous and resilient livelihood. We aspire to a future of food-secure, self-sufficient communities that steward healthy land and thrive on their own enterprise.
